Finn couldn’t even begin to understand why she’d come over. She’d made the state of their relationship painstakingly clear and so had he. Nevertheless, she was there, and they both knew that she wouldn’t be leaving until she received her answers. “I said that I was thinking about quitting glee club, and even if I did, it has nothing to do with you. I guess you’ll just have to sing a duet with Puck at Nationals. Boo freakin hoo.” Maybe this answer would satisfy her. He figured that Sam was avoiding his messages because he didn’t want to help Finn go against the doctor’s orders. Still, he needed someone.. he kept thinking back to Puck’s offer, but it wasn’t worth it. They’d end up fighting in the first two minutes. 

His back was to the door when she walked in. He figured that it was Carole, coming to check on him.. and was extremely surprised to hear Rachel’s voice. He quickly turned over, feeling that familiar surge of pain. How many times was he going to forget? No sudden movements.. He closed his eyes and let out a huff of air. “What the hell, Rachel? Who told you that?”

• Sam: Dude but glee club /needs/ you. Youre like one of the captains or whatever
• Finn: You know, you never really answered me the other day.. about training? Are you in?

• Sam: What the hell? Why?
• Finn: I don't think I have time for it.. right now. I need to train like.. all the time plus.. I really just don't want any.. distractions.
